Magnetek, Inc. Launches New IMPULSE® Drive Trending Tool

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - March 17, 2009 - Magnetek, Inc. today announced the launch of its new IMPULSE® Drive Trending Tool software, a Windows-based PC program that can be utilized as a digital chart recorder for trending diagnostic feedback information. The product is compatible with the Company’s IMPULSE®•G+/VG+ Series 3 Drives and their new IMPULSE®•G+ Mini Drive.

The IMPULSE drive trending tool software can be used to monitor a drive’s performance in real time.  The user can monitor and chart data points, replay recorded data, and export recorded data for later analysis.

The trending tool software package is included in the Company’s IMPULSE®•Link 4.1 Wireless Diagnostics System package or as a standalone package.

“Our new IMPULSE drive trending software is a valuable monitoring and troubleshooting tool that allows users to easily examine the performance of a crane or hoist,” said Aaron Kureck, manager of controls products and development engineering for Magnetek.

Magnetek's complete line of IMPULSE drive support tools, including the new drive trending tool, helps simplify the overall use and serviceability of IMPULSE adjustable frequency crane controls.
